The idea behind this site is to help individuals with their legal problems.  It might be an employment issue such as unfair dismissal, an unlawful deduction from your wages, bullying, or some sort of discrimination.  On the other hand you might have had a dodgy holiday or you could have received faulty goods or poor quality services. 

The legal system is a minefield but if you get the right advice at the start hopefully you can avoid making any costly mistakes.  Sometimes you will need a solicitor but at other times, with a little bit of knowledge, you can do it yourself. 

There is plenty of advice on the net, some of it good, some of it not so good.  I plan to post articles and provide links to useful sites.  I also want to set up a forum so knowledge can be shared and questions answered. 

If you do need to instruct a solicitor you may not need to pay for it yourself.  You could be eligible for legal aid; you may have legal expenses insurance; or you may be able to enter a conditional fee agreement (no win no fee).  It is worth checking out these options before you get your cheque book out.
